In Exalogic racks which have NM2-GW IB Switches with Firmware versions 2.2.7 or older, Issue of SM status of newly replaced standby NM2-GW IB Switch showing as "DISCOVER" instead of "STANDBY" is noticed.
The issue can be confirmed by running "getmaster" command. Below is output of "getmaster" command as an example. As seen from below output, eltesttestgw01 is the SM Master. SM status of eltestgw02 should be STANBY. But instead the status is shown as DISCOVER.
Old Switch replaced with New Switch as part of Switch replacement process.
