ODI Numeric Load Plan Variable Does Not Accept a Value Larger Than 10 Digits but Session Variable Does

When executing an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) load plan, a numeric load plan variable will not accept more than 10 digits as a Startup Value. See the below screenshot for an example:
In contrast to the above screen shot, the numeric session variable is allowing more than 10 digits for the variable value. See the below screenshot for an example:
