"Unable to locate the specified product directory" Error Applying WebLogic Server Patch using BSU (Doc ID 2412088.1)

Symptoms

During install patch p27395085_1036_Generic ( -patchlist=GFWX) to WebLogic , encountered the following error

./bsu.sh -install -patch_download_dir=MW-HOME/utils/bsu/cache_dir/ -patchlist=GFWX -prod_dir=$MW_HOME/$WLS_HOME -verbose -log=$MW_HOME/utils/bsu/patch.log -log_priority=trace

Error:

Unable to locate the specified product directory.[MW-HOME/MW-HOME/wlserver_10.3]
