OUD - Is it possible to run 'dsreplication status' without a Password File? (Doc ID 2413605.1)

Command to monitor the replication :

$ORACLE_HOME/<INST_1>/OUD/bin/dsreplication status -I <adminUID> -j $MW_HOME/tou8pp.pwd -X --hostname ${HOSTNAME} --port <ADMIN_PORT> -b cn=oraclecontext,dc=<SUFFIX_DN>  --dataToDisplay compat-view

The issue is the file "$MW_HOME/<adminUID>.pwd" is in clear on the filesystem.
This is not compliance with some security rules.

Is there any other solution to monitor replication on OUD 12c that doesn't need a clear text on the filesystem ?
