Symptoms

EXTRACT fails with the below error during startup

 

2018-06-21T14:59:42.965-0300 ERROR OGG-02028 Oracle GoldenGate Capture for Oracle, extract-name.prm: Failed to attach to logmining server Error code 12801, error message: ORA-12801: error signaled in parallel query server P01Q, instance XXXXXX.XXX.XXX:FUSION1 (1)
ORA-04031: unable to allocate 704 bytes of shared memory ("shared pool","unknown object","PX subheap","qref (kxfpqr)")
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_STATS", line 34634
ORA-06512: at "SYS.LOGMNR_KRVRDLUID3", line 1644

But when few of the memory parameters (like streams_pool_size )are modified appropriately the error changed to below

                             ORA-04031: unable to allocate 65560 bytes of shared memory ("large pool","unknown object","large pool","PX msg pool")
                             ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_STATS", line 34634
                             ORA-06512: at "SYS.LOGMNR_KRVRDLUID3", line 1644
                             ORA-06512: at "SYS.LOGMNR_KRVRDLUID3", line 2011
                             ORA-06512: at line 1.
