Goal
Oracle Access Manager (OAM) the authentication flow from credential collection through session establishment is configurable, 99% of the time without needing to write a single line of code or by scripting anything.Out of the box (OOB) OAM 11g ships with several Authentication Schemes prewired, which can be changed or adjusted to meet most business requirements. There may come a time when this is not true and a customization is needed. This document will provided a starting point when dealing with this ... via a Custom Authentication Plugin. It will provide the related product documentation , Helpful KM Notes, and Blogs. The Oracle Access Manager Team recommends being at the latest product version release, patch-set, and Bundle Patch that is available for the specific component being used. This helps insure that you have the latest fixes/product functionality and helps avoid unnecessary rediscovery of known issues.
