Symptoms
An environment has the WebCenter Content: Imaging server pointed to 2 separate WebCenter Content (WCC) instances. When attempting to move Imaging documents from one application to another, the following error occurs:
The destination repository is not the same as the source repository. oracle.imaging.ImagingException: TCM-99007: The destination repository is not the same as the source repository.
This error message is true. The applications are defined on two different WebCenter Content servers, which is out of necessity due to metadata limitation (500 soft limit, 1000 hard limit) imposed by Oracle. There is a business requirement to be able to freely move documents placed in one application to another application, possible located in anther WCC repository..
