Symptoms

In Exalogic Virtual racks, after upgrading to April 2018 PSU 2.0.6.3.180417, issue of IPoIB interface on Linux 5 (OL5) guest vServers not working is seen.

The guest vServer was not able to connect to the IP of Exadata DB "192.168.x.x". The IPoIB (bond1) of the guest vServer showed HWadd set to "00:00:00:00:00:00" when running "ifconfig bond1" in the affected OL5 Guest vServer as seen below.

Changes

OL5 Guest vServers upgraded to April 2018 PSU.
