Reverse Engineer of BAM Into ODI Fails With Return Code 7000 in ODI 11g (Doc ID 2417358.1)

Symptoms

The Oracle SOA Suite documentation contains steps on integrating with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). When performing section 57.5 (Reverse Engineering the Oracle BAM Schema), it fails with a return code of 7000 and the following error in the Studio log:
