DSML Connections to OVD 11g Fails, Returns Only root dse For All Requests (Doc ID 2423980.1)

Symptoms

Connections to Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD) 11g using a SOAP client to Directory Services Markup Language (DSML) listener fails.

The same connection to other ldap servers work.

Also ldapsearch with same connection information and credentials work.

To OVD, it is connecting to DSML service but not authenticating or processing the input file and providing the response properly.

It returns root dse search output for any and all DSML requests.
