Exalogic Virtual: ZFS BUI Console shows "PAM: Authentication Failed For Root" Errors In System Logs From Proxy Controllers IP's (Doc ID 2424608.1)

Symptoms

In Exalogic Virtual racks, issue "PAM: Authentication Failed For Root" errors showing up in ZFS BUI console is seen. The authentication failed messages are from Proxy Controller IP's. These messages can be seen by navigating to Maintenance --> LOGS page in ZFS BUI.
