ODI 12c Smart Import of Work Repository Fails with "ODI-10212: Parent object SNP_DIMENSIONMOD: 'Project' already has child" (Doc ID 2425153.1)

Symptoms

The following error message occurs when performing a Smart Import of the Work Repository in INSERT_UPDATE or INSERT mode in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.2.6:

ODI-10212: Parent object SNP_DIMENSIONMOD: '<PROJECT_NAME>' already has child SNP_CUBEUSESDIM: 'null'.Technical details: SNP_CUBEUSESDIM : 'null' (with global id: <GUID> and internal id: <ID>) violates alternate key constraint AK_SNP_CUBE_U_DIM_ROLE (ROLE,I_OWNER_CUBE,I_DIM_LEVEL) for values (null,6,null)
