Exalogic: prePatchChecks On Compute Nodes Failing With "/dev/console: Input/output error" In Exapatch Logs (Doc ID 2425186.1)

Symptoms

During Exalogic PSU, when running Exapatch prePatchChecks on Compute Nodes, prePatchChecks failing with "bash: /dev/console: Input/output error" error in Exapatch logs is seen.

This issue can happen on any 2.0.6.X PSU version when running prePatchChecks on both Exalogic Linux Physical and Virtual racks.

Below is snippet of Exapatch log with "bash: /dev/console: Input/output error" failure message.
