On : OUD version,

We need solution to install OUD DS instance over standard ports 389/636 with a non-root user on linux.

We are migrating from ODSEE to OUD and trying to install OUD directory server instance on a Linux server with a non-root user('ldap') over standard ports 389/636.
We are unable to install the instance on ports lower than 1024 as Linux does not allow access to non root users for these ports. Need suggestion/solution on how to achieve this.
We tried to give sudo access to the user 'ldap' but this is causing the instance to run as root user.
We have also provided the sudo access to run 'start-ds' and 'stop-ds' scripts but getting error 'Current user is not owner of the instance. Only [ldap] can run this command '.
