Changing Batch to Exception State in WFR Web Verifier Does Not Save Changes to Meta-Data Fields (Doc ID 2427776.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 28, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Forms Recognition - Version 11.1.1.9.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When a user enters data in the Verifier form (and the user does not press enter into the field) the data will be lost when the document is moved into an exception state.

Steps to reproduce issue in Web Verifier:

  1. Enable exception state (601) within Web Verifier.
  2. Open any batch in ofr and update any field like InvoiceNumber (without hitting enter).
  3. Set the batch to an exception state.
  4. Open the batch in exception state the data which we have updated will be lost.

The issue can be duplicated in the base AP project in Web Verifier 11.1.1.9.0, but seems to work in the Verifier thick client.
