Symptoms
After applying the July 2018 PSU to WLS on the AIX and HP Itanium platforms, the Admin Server does not start. The JVM boots and then immediately shuts down. Once the startup script is launched, typically using startWebLogic.sh, its output shows few lines and then the process exits, producing no error:
