Importing Case Source into a New Installation of EDQ 12c Returns "Error: File = 2.0, Server = 1.3 (Code: 300,263)" (Doc ID 2430950.1)

Symptoms

After installation of a new Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ) 12c installation and attempting to import a Case Source from another installation, the import process raises an error:

  Error: File = 2.0, Server = 1.3 (Code: 300,263)

Changes

The instance of EDQ where the file was exported (source system) is the same version as the instance of EDQ to which the file is being imported, however the source system was upgraded from an earlier release.
