Executing WSDL Using Command Line Fails with "Failure of APACHE bridge" Error (Doc ID 2431660.1)

Symptoms

In FMW 11g, when executing WSDL using curl command and OHS port, it fails with the below error:

 

<HTML><HEAD><TITLE>Weblogic Bridge Error<TITLE><HEAD><BODY><H2>Failure of APACHE bridge:</H2><P><hr>Internal processing error<hr></BODY></HTML>

 

OHS access log file shows 400 "Bad Request" for POST data.

<IP> - - [01/Aug/2018:17:04:59 -0700] "GET /x/pport?xsd=1 HTTP/1.1" 200 3595

<IP> - - [01/Aug/2018:17:04:59 -0700] "GET /x/pport?xsd=1 HTTP/1.1" 200 3595

<IP> - - [01/Aug/2018:17:05:00 -0700] "POST /px/pport?WSDL HTTP/1.1" 400 157 **********

 

 The same WSDL call works when called directly using Weblogic port.
