Symptoms
A customer has reported that in production environment, JVM has seen sudden spike in application threads from 25 to 280 within 5 minutes. The thread dump analysis just pointed all the waits on coherence. There are no networking issues observed and the issue happening only in production is not reproducible in lower environments. Cache servers are giving heap memory issues and proxy servers are shutting down. Cache data size has increased for some of the caches recently.
