Last updated on AUGUST 16, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition - Version 11.1.1.7.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

We are looking to deny authentication for users based on certain attributes in the ODSEE. Will this type of ACI work?

(target = ldap:///ou=aTree,ou=people,ou=example,dc=com) (targetscope = subtree) (targetattr = "userPassword || exampleAttr") (targetfilter = "(|(exampleAttr=one)(exampleAttr=two))") (version 3.0; acl "Deny Anyone userPassword for one and two"; deny (all) (userdn = "ldap:///all");)

ACI is located: ou=aTree,ou=People,ou=example,dc=com
