STUCK/BLOCKED Threads Due To Very High Traffic With DB Over NIO (Doc ID 2434128.1)

WebCenter Sites cluster with 2 nodes running on Oracle Linux using NIO DB to store contents (no Shared filesystem).

After a publish occurs to this WebCenter Sites environment (even though publishing a few contents only) the clustered WCS servers get stuck.

Noticed that when this problem happens the network traffic from DB instance to WCS nodes can get very high.

From thread dumps see many threads STUCK and BLOCKED. Many of the stactraces in NIO operation, such as:
