Windows Server Hangs when Running ODI 11g Package (Doc ID 2434187.1)

When attempting to run certain Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11g Packages, the following behavior was observed:

The Windows server where ODI is installed was hanging (locking up) about 5-10 seconds after executing the Package from ODI Studio.
No errors appeared in ODI Studio or the studio and/or agent log files.
