A table column contains af:inputText with maximumLength property of 6 and

When end user edits the text field which contains for example 106 to 123456 and tabs away the text field will show 123,456.
After committing the table, if the end user deletes the '1' of the 123,456 the text field will show 23,456.
Now if the end user attempts to change 23,456 to 923,456 the ADF framework will not permit it.
In other words the framework considers the group separator ',' a digit.

Another issue is if first end user edits a 3 digit value, for example 106 to 123456 and tabs out of the field and commits, ie leaving 123,456 displayed.
Then if end user selects the previous cell (this could be last column of previous row, if the cell containing 123,456 is the first column) and tabs into the cell containing 123,456 the framework will change the value to 12,345.
