SQL Syntax Error Using Teradata Tables with Columns Matching Reserved Keywords Using ODI 12c (Doc ID 2442967.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.1.3, when using column names that are also reserved words when interacting with a Teradata database, the generated code fails similar to the following:

Caused By: java.sql.SQLException: [Teradata Database] [TeraJDBC 15.10.00.33] [Error 3707] [SQLState 42000] Syntax error, expected something like a 'CHECK' keyword between ',' and the 'VALUE' keyword.
