Last updated on MARCH 11, 2019

Applies to:

Identity Manager Connector - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

CA Top Secret Connector recon profiles assigned specific duration: like "=*TEMPNAME", in profile lookup "TEMPNAME"

Recreate Steps:
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1). Associate Profiles to users that are Temporary, example 30 days

TSS add(USER1) prof(TEMPNAME) for(30)

2). Profile assigned to an ID with a specified duration on Mainframe - "*TEMPNAME"

  memberOf: cn=PROFILES,ou=Profiles,dc=tops,dc=com
  memberOf: cn==*TEMPNAME,ou=Profiles,dc=tops,dc=com
  memberOf: cn=TEMPNAME,ou=Profiles,dc=tops,dc=com

3). Process does not properly handle the * and adds equal sign, and bogus entry of Profiles

4). profile lookup it's "TEMPNAME"

Temporary Profiles was never specifically tested previously.
