Last updated on SEPTEMBER 25, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 12.2.1.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After configuring SSL for the collocated agent (using the Demo Identity), if the agent starts manually it starts successfully and tests successful with the ODI Clients (ODI Console and ODI Studio). However, if the collocated agent is started with Node Manager, the node manager is unable to start the agent and reports the following in the nodemanager.log:

Server start command for ODI server '[SERVER_NAME]' failed due to: [java.security.cert.CertificateException: No subject alternative names present]. Please check Node Manager log and/or server '[SERVER_NAME]' log for detailed information.
