HTTP Session Objects Leak when the Request is Terminated

Symptoms
Session objects doesn't adhere session timeout, when the request is terminated.
The number of sessions keeps increasing, even after the session timeout is crossed, when the request is terminated for any reason similar to Broken Pipe.
You can observe the session count keeps increasing. In the image below, the session timeout set to 60 seconds, but sessions still hold after 1min.
