Purpose
Is there a way to apply IP security to ports so that they only accept IP socket connections from defined IP addresses?
In DMQ on OpenVMS IA64 V5.01-43(RP50) with XGROUP connections to other systems using TCPIP. Specify a high number IP port for a group to use for connections. IT security group has implemented port scanners that send various garbage to each of these ports and generate a lot of DMQ errors. Is there a way to apply IP security to these ports so that they only accept IP socket connections from defined IP addresses? have tried using a DMQGLSEC.TXT file and set XGROUP_VERIFY but neither seem to do this.
