Last updated on FEBRUARY 13, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 10.1.3.2.0 to 12.2.1.4.0 [Release 10gR3 to 12c]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) scenario which contains an Arabic string in one of the column expressions executes correctly and loads data into the target.

However, when the same scenario is exported and imported in an Execution (E) repository, the Arabic string is stored as question marks (?).

Changes

Simple export and import of an ODI scenario between a Development (D) type work repository and an Execution (E) type Work repository, with an Arabic string contained in the scenario.
