Large Application Messages are Divided into Multiple Messages in Weblogic 12c Logs (Doc ID 2448173.1)

Symptoms

The custom application echoes messages to standard output, but if those are redirected to the server log file, the messages are cut into multiple parts and not stored as a single entry. This did not happen in WLS 10.3.6.

In the log files, one application message written to standard output is split into two or more messages that are written in the server log as below:
