JMS Messages Stuck In Pending State (Doc ID 2448614.1)

Symptoms

JTA transaction spawning two WLS domains has timedout and rolledback the transaction causing the underlying JMS messages to be pending (message status: send transaction).

Following error is seen in the logs by enabling JTA and RJVM debugs and tracing the transaction end to end:
