After Upgrade from ODI 11g to 12c, "New Logical Agent" and "New Work Repository" Menu Options are Missing in ODI Studio Topology (Doc ID 2451417.1)

Symptoms

In an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c environment which has been upgraded from ODI 11g, the "New Logical Agent" and "New Work Repository" options are not available.

These would normally be found as follows:

ODI Studio > Topology > Logical Architecture > Right click on "Agents" > Choose "New Logical Agent"

ODI Studio > Topology > Repositories > Right click on "Work Repositories" > Choose "New Work Repository"

Changes

This issue occurs after upgrading from ODI 11.1.1.6 to ODI 12c (12.2.1.3.0 in this case).
