"ODI-16119: Cannot reorder a join around another join" when Generating a Scenario after Import from ODI 11g to 12c (Doc ID 2451963.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 30, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 12.1.3.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A mapping which makes use of a temporary interface (Yellow Interface) was exported from ODI 11g and imported into 12c. As expected, the temporary interface was imported as a reusable mapping. Attempting to generate a scenario fails with the following errors:

"Fatal Not allowed to reorder node Default.JOIN1: ODI-16119: Cannot reorder a join around another join if either one is a left outer or right outer join, for ANSI joins."

"Error oracle.odi.domain.mapping.exception.MapPhysicalException: ODI-16124: Not allowed to reorder node Default.JOIN1: ODI-16119: Cannot reorder a join around another join if either one is a left outer or right outer join, for ANSI joins."
