Symptoms

Custom Logger Not Outputting to sites.log

A custom logger name (e.g. com.mycompany.testing) is used to log messages (e.g. from a CSElement or custom Asset Listener).
e.g. This might be done using ics:logmsg or some custom logging mechanism:

<ics:logmsg msg="This is a NOTIFICATION message"
name="com.mycompany.testing"
severity="info"/>

The logger does not get output to the sites.log, even when setting that logger to TRACE:16 in the "Configure ODL Logging" tool in Sites Admin UI.
