Purpose

This document supplements the Managing Search in WebCenter Portal with Elasticsearch chapter in the guide to Fusion Middleware Administering Oracle WebCenter Portal and "Configuring Elasticsearch in WebCenter Portal" (<Document 2325812.1>).

It documents steps to deinstall Elasticsearch and remove its configuration in WebCenter Portal 12c.

Scope

Oracle WebCenter Portal 12c (12.2.1.3.0) supports Elasticsearch, a highly scalable search engine. However, Elasticsearch must be installed and configured in WebCenter Portal for use to search portals and content such as documents, wikis, blogs, page metadata, etc.
