After Reverse Engineer of XML Only Last Element of Nested Sequence is Imported into ODI Model (Doc ID 2458922.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c, reverse engineering an XML file, followed by viewing the data of the resulting model, shows that when there are nested repeated elements only the last row is displayed.

For example, the XML data contains the followings structure:

<TABLE_NAME>
 <COLUMN_NAME>123</COLUMN_NAME>
 <COLUMN_NAME>124</COLUMN_NAME>
 <COLUMN_NAME>125</COLUMN_NAME>
 <COLUMN_NAME>126</COLUMN_NAME> 
</TABLE_NAME>
