Symptoms

Oracle Enterprise Single Sign-On: Password Reset

After installing and configuring the ESSO Password Reset Server on Windows 2012, the management client http://ESSOPRHost/vGOSelfServiceReset/ManagementClient/webservices.aspx web page is inaccessible in the IE browser.


ERROR
"Page cannot be displayed"
 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Install the ESSO Password Reset product on Windows Server 2012.
  2. Configure the vGOSelfServiceReset site and virtual directories in IIS.
  3. Attempt to access the Management client by clicking on Webservice.aspx file in the Management client folder from within IIS inetmgr.


BUSINESS IMPACT
Due to this issue, users cannot access the ESSO Password Reset Management client page to configure the Password Reset settings. .
