Last updated on OCTOBER 02, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Data Integrator - Version 11.1.1.3.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), as other Fusion Middleware (FMW) products requires Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) drivers for connecting to an Oracle database.
However, an Oracle JDBC patch can be applied to the ODI home using the opatch command only if:
- The JDBC patch has been released as a FMW patch... and
- The version of FMW from the patch matches the version of FMW ODI uses...
How can Oracle JDBC driver patches be applied manually on an ODI home if the above conditions are not met?
