Admin Server Is Not Starting Up After Creating Softlink Of OHS Document_Root (htdocs) Directory Pointing To NAS Mount Point (Doc ID 2461196.1)

On : 12.1.2.0.0 version, WLS Core Components

Using Forms & Reports 12.2.1.2

WLS 12.2.1.2
F&R 12.2.1.2
OHS 12.2.1.2
JDK 1.8.0_121

Actual Issue : Using F&R 12.2.1.2 with collocated OHS.
And created softlink of OHS Document_Root (htdocs) directory pointing to NAS mount point.


Above “documents” directory have around 3 files and when starting the WLS AdminServer or any other managed server, it starts reading/opening files from “documents” directory and doesn’t come up.
Thereafter you copied files from “documents” directory to htdocs directory after removing softlink (NAS to SAN) and then it took around 8-9 minutes to come up in RUNNING state.
