WEC 12c Document Conversion Fails and Errors "Error occurred while processing batch" and "Conversion failed due to return code" Occur (Doc ID 2466879.1)

Symptoms

An Import Processor folder source job is set up to use a Document Conversion job in Post-Processing. The Conversion job is set use External Conversion as follow:

External Conversion Program: <path>\gswin64c.exe
Command Line Parameter: -dNOPAUSE -q -sCompression=lzw -r300 -sDEVICE=tiffgray -dBATCH -sOutputFile=

The conversion job is passing the file path to GhostScript: <Path>\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\110398\110398.4. However the document path is <Path>\Users\<username>\.oracle_capture\Batches\CAPTURE_02\1\110398.

The conversion fails because of an incorrect path of the input file.

The error in log file shows the following:

Conversion failed due to return code. Workspace Mastec_AP_Invoice. Batch ID: 110398. Batch Name: <Batch_Name>. Item ID: <Item_ID>. Conversion Program: <Path>\<username>\gswin64c.exe. Command Line: -dNOPAUSE -q -sCompression=lzw -r300 -sDEVICE=tiffgray -dBATCH -sOutputFile=<Path>\Users\SVC_WC~1\AppData\Local\Temp\110398\images\110398.4.TIF <Path>\Users\SVC_WC~1\AppData\Local\Temp\110398\110398.4 -c quit. Return Code: 1.
