TNS-12535 TNS-12606 When Sending Security Logging to the Database (Doc ID 2469518.1)

Symptoms

A Webmethods Integration Server 9.12 application using Oracle JDBC driver 12.2.0.1  fails with the following error:

Unexpected Throwable logging audit event: java.sql.SQLException: [SoftwareAG][Oracle JDBC  has timed out.


At the same time the database alert log shows:


Fatal NI connect error 12170.

 The application code writes security logs to the Oracle database through the JDBC connection.
