OAAM Password Reset throws error message "Old Password You Entered Was Incorrect" (Doc ID 2470206.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.1.2.3.0 version, Adaptive Strong Authenticator

When performing self service reset and hit enter button continuously, an error message is displayed: "Sorry, the old password you entered was incorrect. Please try again."

Appears to be a UI issue only. The password reset has actually completed OK in OIM.

ERROR

OAAM  Password Reset throws error message "Old Password You Entered Was Incorrect".

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
  1. Open IE or Chrome browser
 2. Log in to OIM identity console (http://chella-linux.vm.oracle.com:5000/identity) as user (user.1) and click on my information tiles from home page.
 3. Click " Reset password in Oracle Adaptive Access Manager" from Change password section and it takes you to OAAM for change password page.
 4. In Change password page section
  a. Enter Old Password then press enter key
  b. Enter New Password then press enter key
  c. Enter Confirm New Password
  d. Now press enter key continuously at very fast interval 3 or 5 or more times
  e. User will get the message "Sorry, the old password you entered was incorrect. Please try again."

The issue has the following business impact: Due to this issue, incorrect message shown even though password changed.
