ODI-30105 Error Messages are Received in ODI 12c when SESS_NO is Used in Substitution Methods Such as <%=snpRef.getSession("SESS_NO")%> (Doc ID 2474412.1)

After upgrading to Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c or in a newly installed ODI 12c environment, an error message similar to the one below are observed at run time when the SESS_NO selector is used in a substitution method:

ODI-30105: Internal ID is not supported for "Session" when Legacy ID Compatible Mode is switched off. Only Global ID is supported.

For example, the error would be received when using the OdiWaitForChildSession command below to wait for child session of the current session to complete:

OdiWaitForChildSession "-PARENT_SESS_NO=<%=snpRef.getSession("SESS_NO")%>" "-POLL_INT=1" "-MAX_CHILD_ERROR=1"
