Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On WebCenter Portal (WCP) 12.2.1.3.180716 version.

When executing a full crawl in Elasticsearch of portal it deletes the documents index.

This functionality occurred after applying the bundle patch 12.2.1.3.180716 for WCP.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
When run a full crawl in portal instead creating duplicate index with name format: webcenter_portal_portals_1 it is creating instead as webcenter_portal_documents_1

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Start full crawl
2. Check new index status in Elasticsearch (note the new webcenter_portal_documents_1 index file).
3. When crawl ends, verify indexers names and note the webcenter_portal_documents_1 is still present, but with an exact copy of previous webcenter_portal_portals file.
