XSD Validation In FileAdapter Does Not Reject Incorrect Big Files (Doc ID 2476879.1)

Last updated on MARCH 19, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle SOA Suite - Version 11.1.1.7.8 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

We have BPEL composites with FileAdapter for incoming files. FileAdapter uses XSD to validate structure of incoming file. If the structure is incorrect, the file is rejected and no instance is created.
This is the normal behaviour and it is working well.

Problem:
We have seen that if the file has an incorrect structure (regarding XSD) but if the file is big (more than 3 mb size), then the file is not rejected, and the instance is created (so it is wrong).

-- Question

Is there a limitation somewhere that causes this trouble ? How to remove this limit and make the XSD validation working for even bigger files?
