This document assists with ways to receive notifications for releases and patches for the following products:

WebCenter Content: Imaging (WCCIMG)

WebCenter Enterprise Capture (WEC)

WebCenter Forms Recognition (WFR)

Actions

When looking for ways to receive product release and patch release notifications, there are multiple options.  These options include the Proactive Support WebCenter Content Blog, the My Oracle Support WebCenter Content Community space, and the WebCenter Content Twitter account.

Proactive Support WebCenter Content Blog

The Proactive Support WebCenter Content Blog provides the latest information on the WebCenter Content product and its underlying products (WCCIMG, WEC, WFR).  Blog entries include major product releases and other important product announcements.

The "My Oracle Support WebCenter Content Community" contains posts relating to product releases, product patches, product announcements, and customer questions/answers. Articles and Communities can be subscribed to with an RSS feed or by "following" that article or community.

Below are the steps on following an article and receiving an email when there is an update:

  1. Click the "Follow" icon on the top right.
  2. Select the "Email Watches" checkbox and click "Done".
  3. Modify the Preferences by clicking on the drop down next to your name.
  4. Click on the "Preferences" selection.
  5. Make sure "Email Watches" is set to "On" and click "Save".
