Document Root "htdocs" Soft Link Contents are Zero Byte after Oracle HTTP Server Restart (Doc ID 2481133.1)

Symptoms

NOTE: The following applies to StandAlone OHS Configuration.
The issue can be reproduced with a STOP, START, or RESTART of OHS. 

  

After creating a soft link in htdocs under staging directory, the files contents are getting reduced to zero bytes.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Create directory: /<DIR>/SoftLink

2. Create some text files under above directory.
Softtest1
Softtest2
Softtest3

3. Navigate to the htdocs directory: <DOMAIN_HOME>/config/fmwconfig/components/OHS/<COMPONENT_NAME>/htdocs

4.  Create soft link in htdocs under staging directory as mentioned.
