WebCenter Portal REST API Does Not Return Custom Attributes Values From Activities (Doc ID 2482109.1)

Symptoms

WebCenter REST API query to retrieve custom attributes (from Activities) does not return values in values.

The REST API query URL looks similar to this:

https://<HOSTNAME>:<PORT>/rest/api/activities?startIndex=0&itemsPerPage=20&data=data,custom&userGroupSpaceActivities=true&followedObjects=true&serviceIds=<LIST_OF_SERVICES>&personal=true&connections=true&followedObjectsUserActivities=true&groupSpaces=true&personGuid=<personguid>&custom=displayName

In this case, the query string specific to retrieving custom attributes is "data=data,custom".
