Symptoms
After applying the CPU Patch 2821599 for OHS 12.2.1.3, then Apache ProxyPass and ProxyPassReverse for SSL fails. The following error occurs repeatedly in the $DOMAIN_HOME/servers/ohs1/logs/ohs1.log:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Configure Apache ProxyPass and ProxyPassReverse for SSL
2. Apply <Patch 28281599> (OHS (NATIVE) BUNDLE PATCH 12.2.1.3.180710)OHS (NATIVE) BUNDLE PATCH 12.2.1.3.180710 OHS (NATIVE) BUNDLE PATCH 12.2.1.3.180710
3. SSL Fails and SSL errors "AH00961: HTTPS: failed to enable ssl support" occur repeatedly in $DOMAIN_HOME/servers/ohs1/logs/ohs1.log
or
1. Configure Apache ProxyPass and ProxyPassReverse for SSL
2. Apply <Patch 29058843> - OHS (NATIVE) BUNDLE PATCH 12.2.1.3.181217
3. SSL Fails and SSL errors "AH00961: HTTPS: failed to enable ssl support" occur repeatedly in $DOMAIN_HOME/servers/ohs1/logs/ohs1.log
