Copying Admin Server From One Host To Another Using Pack/Unpack (Doc ID 2482984.1)

Symptoms

Can one use pack/unpack to copy the AdminServer to another host in an existing WebLogic Server domain? For example, host 1 has an admin server and a managed server. Host 2 has a managed server. Can the admin server be copied to host 2?

When the domain is packed using the managed=false option and then unpacked on host 2, the following error is seen:
